Contest Rules

Objective:
To promote the awareness of the importance of remembering history. The essays will be in line with Iris Chang’s spirit and passion in seeking the truth and justice as well as defending human rights.

Topic:
The Denial and Its Cost
- Reflections on Nanking Massacre 70 years ago and beyond

Schedule:
Deadline of essay submission: June 30, 2007
Announcement of awards: Early November, 2007

wow, are all essay contests this rigid? i mean in terms of content, not format or any of that. i have nothing but respect for iris chang's work, and for the long look she took for us at the dark side, but this contest... it's like, don't enter unless you're a clone. that seems weird to me. anybody else?
