The Internet Review of Books is planning a holiday issue that will feature books as gifts ... to be published the first of December in time for a last minute shopping spree.

We'd love to hear any suggestions you have for a good book to be given as a gift. It doesn't have to be a holiday book, doesn't have to be new ... might be a book you gave, one you received ... or wish to receive. We're looking for a brief (less than 200 words) mention of the book and why it would make a good gift for someone.
