My latest review for ForeWord Reviews, KD: A Jazz Biography, is up. Hardest doggone review I ever wrote- the entire book is an epic-length quatrain poem about an obscure trumpet side man in the 1950s and 60s. Yikes.

A story, “Curtains,” up at The Feathered Flounder. Hope you enjoy the read!http://thefeatheredflounder.com/2012/05/curtains/

My story, “She Needed Money,” at www.fiftywordstories.com made the most popular list according to votes/rating. (Perhaps it was only for the week).

My 3,000 word story, “The Church’s Secret,” along with a photo has been published by The Feathered Flounder. www.thefeatheredflounder.com.

I've been in a writing slump lately, but maybe this will get me out of it. Eric, of Eric's Hysterics, likes my story, “Selecting the Right Wine,” and will feature it in July.  He's looking for humor pieces, often responds promptly and always pays $5 promptly.

Stories I sent out earlier are coming in. I hope this works as inspiration.
“Stepping Out,” has been accepted for an anthology about Widowhood to be published by
Silver Boomer Books.  It netted me $10, and gratitude that I'm not really a widow--the story is told from the perspective of  a woman. (http://silverboomerbooks.com/

My flash, “The Sanctity of Marriage,” has been accepted by
Ink Monkey Press for their anthology of flash fiction. (http://inkmonkeymag.synthasite.com/open-anthologies.php)

My story, “The First Day,” is up at
The Feathered Flounder.
