Eric Petersen

Flashes in the Dark has published my flash story, “The Unaware.” You can read it at http://flashesinthedark.com/2012/07/10/the-unaware-by-eric-petersen/ Thanks to everyone on Prose-P who critiqued the original version.

Mel Jacobs

The official release of Coastal Access will be July 13th. I will be at the Melbourne Florida Street Fair for a book display and signing.

Pat St. Pierre

One of my poems, “Halloween Fear,” will be included in the Silver Boomer book on Holidays. I will receive a copy of the book and payment of $5.00 for the poem. Rolling in money now...

Lynne Hinkey

My review of Michael Ian Black and Meghan McCain's book, “America, You Sexy Bitch,” is up at the IRB! http://internetreviewofbooks.blogspot.com/ Slightly underwhelming for a political book, but a nice, lightweight summer read.

Pauline Micciche

My Halloween story, “Bellringer,” written as P.F. Palm, has been accepted for publication in Rainstorm Press's anthology: 31 More Nights of Halloween.

Les Denham

While it sounds a small accomplishment, I found out yesterday that two copies of my book "Across Australia" have been sold. The book is a 154 page full color, hardcover, coffee-table type book put together as a birthday present for my brother. But at the birthday party it received a lot of attention, and the manager of a bookstore said she thought she might be able to sell a
few copies. So about six months ago I had three copies printed by Lulu and sent there. Selling the two copies will about pay for printing and shipping, so if the third copy sells it will be pure profit. Exactly how much I'm not sure: the bookstore is in Australia and is paying me Australian
dollars, but I'm in America and paid Lulu in U.S. dollars.

An interview with me is up at the link below. Hope you have time to stop by.http://lilysawyerbooks.blogspot.com/?zx=1ced8a789b3547b4

Sue Ellis

I am one of the three finalists with a very short Christmas story I wrote not long after I joined IWW several years ago. If you're up for it, read all three stories and vote for the one you like best. At stake: no cash, but a couple of nice prizes.

Edith Parzefall posted this great review of Little Mountain on her blog:http://blog.edith-parzefall.de/?p=824 ...and my novels now have 100 reviews on Amazon.

Ellen Achilles

I received my contributor copy of Spillway, edited by Susan Terris, and I'm really pleased with the breadth of the work presented here. I'm honored that my poem, “How I Came to Love,” critiqued on poetry -- is included. http://www.spillway.org/

Thanks to all the wonderful poets on Poetry-w who keep me honest and show me where to begin again, in the process of rewrites.
