IWW Members' Publishing Successes

Wayne Scheer

Two old stories, “Naked Lady in 3B,” and “And Now for Something Completely Different,” have been accepted for the next issue of eRomance, published by eFiction I've also been interviewed for the issue.

My flash, “Let There Be Comedy Tonight!” has been accepted by Pure Slush for their ego theme.  The story will appear April 3.

My poem, “Mother Squirrel,” has been accepted at Long Story Short for their May

My first book of poetry, Seven Times to Leave, (and winner of the 2013 Mary Ballard Poetry Prize) is now available. All of my proceeds from this book are being donated to Independence House here on Cape Cod. 

Paul Pekin

My short story, “To the Party,” has just been formally accepted by Apple Valley Review: A Journal of Contemporary Literature, and will be published this spring. Thanks to the fiction writing list and all who critted this story, and thanks to the IWW and the people who make our workshop work.

My first review for Prick of the Spindle, Martha Holoubek Fitzgerald's biographical collection of letters exchanged by her parents in the 1930's is up in their new 7.1 issue. The books title is, The Courtship of Two Doctors, A 1930s Love Story of Letters, Hope & Healing
