Just landed a freelance (long-term) gig - retelling folk tales for a coffee table book. I have the creative license to add minor fictitious events and characters. The money is okay. I can make quite a bit a week if I do one a day. And it's fun. Retelling is something I'd wanted to do for a while - and of course, write more for kids. And I am.
