My poem “Sea Hunt" won third prize at the Licking County Ohio poetry contest, sponsored by the Licking County Library. My understanding is that they will post the poem on their website at some time soon, but this hasn't happened yet.
 
There will be a reading for the contest winners, and an open mike for attendees on April 20.

Barbara Taylor

Two of my stories have been accepted recently:

Bobcat Man, (read in Fiction ages ago) by Still Crazy.
Cats and Dog, by The Flash Fiction Press.

Chioma Iwunze-Ibiam

I am pleased to announce that my short story, The Memory Question, was just accepted for publication by The Flash Fiction Press.

Their response rate is very impressive, less than a week in fact. They pay $3 for flash stories and $5 for short stories. I'll send out word when the story goes live.
