IWW Members' Publishing Successes

Gary Presley

Daniel Jones, "Modern Love" editor for the NYTIMES, messaged me that the actor Colin Farrell had chosen my essay, "Would My Heart Outrun Its Pursuer?" for a podcast being sponsored by the NPR station WBUR in Boston. Farrell's done a superb job. Here's the link if you like to listen.

Sheri McGregor

Just a shout out--the project I've been working diligently at for a couple of years was released last week. My book, Done With The Crying: Help and Healing for Mothers of Estranged Adult Children is an extension of my work to help parents of estranged adult children, and includes the latest studies and information, as well as my own informal research of more than 9,000 parents.

It's such a relief to see the book out in the U.S. and abroad. And it's gratifying to be hearing from readers, and know it has helped. Thank you to those on the Nfiction list for your assistance. You are the best! Here is the link for ordering.

My story, David & Goliath, has been accepted for Pure Slush's 'tall...ish' anthology, to be published in print and e-book end of May or so. After all the book promo, I'm very happy to be actually *producing* something new :)

Lori Sambol Brody

I'm the blog content editor for Alternating Current, an independent press, for May. This month's blog posts have included a self-interview with me and an interview I conducted with Sue Ganz-Schmitt, a children's book writer, and a shelfie, as well as other posts I edited.
