IWW Members' Publishing Successes

John Palcewski

I'm pleased to report that the opening chapter of A CAN OF WORMS has been accepted for publication in Eclectica Magazine, one of the oldest surviving online literary publications.

Editor Tom Dooley says it'll be in the Spring issue, to be released April 15, 2018, or thereabouts, Many thanks to those here who provided excellent suggestions for improvement.

Lori Sambol Brody

One of my stories, "The Truth About Alaskan Rivers" (originally published in The Forge) has been chosen by Aimee Bender to be in the Best Small Fictions anthology.

Another one of my stories, "I Want to Believe the Truth Is Out There" (originally published in Jellyfish Review) was a Best Small Fictions finalist.

Wayne Scheer

This is neat. Our Pam Casto has referenced a comic story of mine in an article she wrote for Open: Journal of Arts and Letters.

The article is about the many flash stories that have been converted to film. Along side stories by Hemingway and Kafka, Burkowski and Carver is Wayne Scheer's "Zen and the Art of House Painting." Thank you, Pam.

My poem "Party On, Spring," is up at Muse's Spring Equinox issue.
