IWW Members' Publishing Successes

Jeannette de Beauvoir

Although I'm primarily a novelist, I do write some poetry (mostly because it helps me to process feelings and events and so on), and one of my poems, titled "Derry, 1972,” received honorable mention in this contest sponsored by community radio station WOMR, open to poets from across the country, and judged by novelist and poet Marge Piercy.

I’m pretty pleased.

My poem "1943" is live at Bending Genres.

After being away for the past two weeks - my wife calls it a vacation; I call it a trial separation from my computer - I'm back. While away, two of my stories were published.

"A New Man," is up at The Sunlight Press, and "Another Day at the Job." is on Everyday Fiction. They're both paying sites run by friendly, helpful people.

Speaking of friendly, helpful people, thanks to everyone at IWW who helped me with these stories. "A New Man" was critiqued at Fiction a long while ago and "Another Day at the Job" began its life in Practice.
