IWW Member's Publishing Successes

Dave Gregory

I've published another story with a very long writing history. Stray Cat in Venice was written by hand, in a notebook, in 1997, while I sat on a bench in the park where the story takes place. The piece was workshopped by another writer's group sometime before the turn of the millennium.

Pretty much forgotten until I rewrote it last summer, it was only rejected four times before a small Canadian online journal picked it up. The story has a very unlikable narrator but, don't worry, he gets what's coming to him.

Joanna M. Weston

I'm happy to have a triolet up at Stanzaic Stylings.
