My story "Hoar Frost" won an honourable mention in the Canadian Author's Association, Niagara Branch, 19th Annual Short Story Contest, and appears in "Fifteen Stories High" - the anthology of contest winners.

This was critiqued way back in January of 2018 - thanks to everyone who provided feedback and suggestions: Pauline Micciche, David Webb, John Palcewski, Melissa Daly, Paul Pekin, Wayne Scheer, Chioma Iwunze Ibiam, Aaron Troye-White, Charles Opara, and Mark Kline.

Fifteen Stories High is a print only publication but if anyone wants to read the published story, feel free to send me a note. The contest is already open for 2019.
