My story "Unconditional Surrender" - about a San Diego statue that comes to life - is now online in Ellipsis Zine. This British journal doesn't pay and takes only flash but is quite easy to work with. They also publish print anthologies from time to time.
A huge thank you to Bill LaFond, Frank Zielony, Rob Yunich, Deepa, Wayne Scheer, Aaron Troye-White, Dale Anson and especially Cezarija Abartis for providing plenty of helpful feedback that greatly improved this very short story.
