My under 50-word micro-story, "Conflict," has been accepted by Vine Leaves Press's 50 Give or Take. As the title suggests, they accept micro-stories of 50 words or less. If you join their mailing list, they send a story a day. Many make interesting reading.

Here's the rub: my story was given the number 1477. So, by my calculations, my little piece is a year away from publication. Not for those looking for instant gratification.
