Greg Gunther, the Internet Writing Workshop's chief administrator, said recently, "Our workshop's web site has a lot of useful information to help you with your email settings, such as, signoff, nomail, and others you might find interesting.

"If you have formatting problems with your posts to your lists, check out this page. Chances are your answers will be there.

"If you want to reach any of our admins, you can find their workshop addresses here.

"Please note that a message sent to these addresses will come back to you from listserv for authentication -- that is, it will ask you to click on a link it presents to you. That's to stop spammers, who never click on those links.

"Any of those choices are far superior to sending a help request to the Writing list."
