IWW Members Published and in Print
Fairly slim week--but that just means there'll more next week!
Here's one that's a little different from Julie McGuire:
"Okay, this Yahoo is not for me. Just wanted to share with the
group that I just received my copy of In Stereo Where Available,
by our very own Rebecca Coleman (writing as Becky Anderson).
It looks beautiful, and I can't wait to start reading!"
And another I'm posting for four of us:
Not only have we successfully produced the December edition of The
Internet Review of Books, but the four of us who put it
together--Ruth Douillette, Gary Presley, Bob Sanchez, and I--all
have reviews in it. We're pleased, and hope you are. :-)
And here are the others:
Susan Constable
A good week for me, with four haiga published in the November
issue of Sketchbook, one haiku on Tinywords (you'll find mine
under "Haiku" for Dec 5) and two poems in Amaze: the Cinquain
Journal. This is actually the Summer 2007 issue, but it's just
been released. If the poems sound familiar to Poetry-W members,
then you're one of the people who critiqued them in their original
free verse format.
Thanks again!

I will have a yahoo about my book deal soon (does that count for a
yahoo? Or do we have to wait until it's published? I want to wait
until the contract's signed, hopefully this week, but for now I have
two articles out: "An Off-Setting Adventure: Cruising the Galapagos
with a Carbon-Neutral Conscience," E/The Environmental
Magazine, Nov 2007 (need subscription to view), and "Don't Mess
with the Snappers : Irascible conservation veterans keep fighting
for their beloved Big Thicket," Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine,
December, 2007.

My Christmas poem is now up at Long Story Short.

I'm not big on holidays, but my humorous holiday story "Holiday
Spirit" is up at The Painted Door. I hope it puts you in the mood.
Also, The Shine Journal has accepted my flash story, "The Root of
All Evil," originally written for Practice. Thanks to the group for
critiquing this one. It's scheduled for the February Issue.

I'm with Wayne: a postcard story, "The Shepherd's Story," up at
The Painted Door. Cheers and have a happy Christmas!
I also have an essay titled "Gold, Purple, and Red" up at Women
Who Love to Read . (Hey - I even write nonfiction!)

My short story "Paper Trail" is up on Ann's The Painted Door,
December issue.
