-------------------------
Exercise: In 400 words or less, describe a moment in your life when you've experienced faith.
-------------------------

Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something, a strongly held belief or theory.

People have faith in different things, whether it be a person, God, love, a philosophy, money, intellect, science. Or yourself. Faith helps us through the rough times and gives life meaning and purpose.

We may not all have faith in the same thing, but we all have faith in something. Look back to a time in your life when you have experienced or benefited from faith.

It could be something that shows faith in action, an incident that demonstrates true faith, or an example of how faith helped you.

Remember what you experienced and how you felt. Then write your submission, making it a retelling of a true event.

These exercises were written by IWW members and administrators to provide structured practice opportunities for its members. You are welcome to use them for practice as well. Please mention that you found them at the Internet Writers Workshop.
