Contests You Can Count On



The Southern Illinois Writers Guild is sponsoring a writing contest. It offers prizes of $100, $50, and $25 in each category of Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. Entry fee is $5. Deadline is May 1, 2008.


The Internet Review of Books announces its Spring “Lasting Impressions” Book Review Contest. First Prize $100. Entry fee $5.
