Two of my stories went online recently. I hope you'll enjoy both.

"Leaving the Carnival" appears in The Summerset Review - my fifth submission to this journal and first acceptance. They conditionally accepted it and had me do a modest rewrite which, I believe, greatly improved the story.

A huge note of gratitude to the fiction group members who helped me get this into a form the editor was willing to work with: Judith Quaempts, Amita Basu, Bill LaFond, Wayne Scheer, Aaron Troye-White, and Ursula Strachan.

"The Imagination Game" appears in The Sandy River Review (The River) and was critiqued by Judith, Jackie, Wayne, Keith, Bill LaFond, Rob Yunich. At the time, the story was entitled "Bioluminescence" and thanks to everyone's feedback the story went through a healthy transition to its present state.

Unfortunately, neither journal offered payment.
