IWW Members' Publishing Successes For The Week Ending 1/9/22

Judith Quaempts

Young Ravens Literary Review is publishing a poem, Alma, in the latest issue. For some reason it was under 'Art,' rather than poetry.

William Bartlett

I was asked by an author of children's books to write a foreword to one of her picture books. The book is entitled One Drop, Two Drops and Much More but is not yet available on Amazon.

Phyllis Sanchez

I have two poems appearing in the new print issue of Grain, one of Canada’s premier lit mags. I learned about Grain from a member of the Poetry list group, Louisa Howerow, whose poetry has graced the pages of Grain multiple times. Grain publishes work by Canadian as well as international writers.

The two poems, published under my pen name Lis Sanchez, are “Manuél Sánchez. Ode to An Orange” and “Manuél Sánchez. From the Steerage Deck.” A huge Thank You to those in the Poetry writing group who helped; as always, I am profoundly grateful — and shudder to think how these might have turned out without your suggestions!
