IWW Members' Publishing Successes For The Week Ending 6/19/22

Wayne Scheer

I have a micro flash, "Please Hold," as well as a poem, "East and West," up at Fairfield Scribes. They accept flashes and poems under 100 words.

"Please Hold" was critiqued here in IWW, so I have a lot of people to thank. If you scroll down beneath the Interview, my story is about third, and if you still have the heart for it, keep scrolling down until you come to the section marked Poems and you'll see mine.

Dave Gregory

My flash fiction story, "We're All in This Sandbox Together," was recently published in Orange Blossom Review. It was critiqued by the Fiction group, last December, under the title "Shoes in a Sandbox."

Thanks to Frank Zielony, Bill LaFond, Judith Quaempts, Jacki, Deepa, Jean Brown, Victor Kane, Jon Minton, Wayne Scheer, Dale Anson, and Eric Petersen for providing the critical feedback that elevated this story to a more publishable form.

Paul S. Fein

Recently, I was happy to learn The Fein Points of Tennis: Technique and Tactics to Unleash Your Talent was named a Silver Winner in the Adventure, Sports, and Recreation category in the Foreword Reviews 2021 INDIES Book of the Year competition.

I would like to thank the many IWW members whose thoughtful critiques greatly improved my tennis instruction book -- most notably, Irma Navarro, G. K. Adams, Bill Bartlett, Cathy Moser, Sheri McGregor, Ellen Dreyer, Mona Vanek, Jan Bridgeford-Smith, Kristen Howe, and Gary Presley
