IWW Members' Publishing Successes For The Week Ending 11/13/22

My short story "The City" (4,000 words) was accepted for publication in issue #124 of Bamboo Ridge. This story, a semi-stream-of-consciousness piece exploring the panic and pain and huge class differences of life in a metropolis that's bursting at the seams, was critiqued a few months ago on Fiction. Thanks to everyone at Fiction, especially Jonathan Minton, Bill LaFond, Joe Follansbee, and Wayne Scheer.
My short essay "Let the Wine Mature" (600 words) was accepted for publication in The Writer Shed Press's Medium edition. This nonfiction piece explores one aspect of my experience with the craft of writing: letting ideas mature before giving them form. Thank you to everyone at IWW.

I’m happy to discover that I have a poem featured online at the Colorado Review. The poem appears under my pen name, Lis Sanchez. As ever, I am grateful for the help of my friends on the Poetry List. Thank you; you are wonderful!
