I sent my poem, Edinburgh, Scotland: A Duet, to StepAway magazine, (a magazine that specializes in stories by the flaneur) and got a note from the editor telling me they'd already wrapped up their work for the year, but when they got my poem, a poem they just loved, they decided that they had to include it in the already-to-go next issue.

Direct quote from the editor's note: "It's a wonderfully evocative portrait of Edinburgh. It will be a pleasure to publish your work!" As you can likely imagine, there's a big smile on my face.
