My short story collection, The Most Excellent Immigrant, impressed Kirkus Reviews. Some of the stories from this collection were critiqued here in the Workshop.

I'm delighted with my latest project and delighted that the project is now live. It's a new chapbook by talented writer and artist Ray Gonzalez who provided six prose poem, a craft essay on prose poetry, his stunning artwork, and the chapbook includes the interview I did with him. The title is The Book of Whispers.

I'm pleased to have been asked to do this series. I love choosing the writers who have contributed so much to the world of short shorts (nod to Mark Budman and Wayne Scheer). I also enjoy interviewing them.

I get so much inspiration from each project and I hope you will too. I think you'll find this book quite inspiring. Gonzalez provides some fascinating work and ideas (as you will soon see).
