A Different Kind of Yahoo

One of the IWW's Nonfiction lists members is Mridu Khullar, a freelance journalist currently based in New Delhi, India. Her work frequently focuses on women’s and social problems, and projects that are undertaken to solve them.

Last week Mridu was interviewed about her work on NPR. She was featured on Bob Garfields’s “On the Media” radio show and discussed the problems of women in India, and a newspaper that is making extraordinary strides in rural areas.

This is a wonderful interview. From such a humble beginning that paper has already brought change. It's exciting to hear of the difference it is making.
